My name is Gwen
As an Occupational Therapist in an outpatient rehab clinic, I was introduced to the world of lymphedema. I became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist in 2016 and LANA certified in 2017.
I also see those who are unseen, looked over, and forgotten. The self-management phase can feel uncertain, unpredictable and lonely, especially after weeks of structured Phase 1 decongestive treatment in wound care or therapy.
For those lost in the vastness of Phase 2, struggling in self-care, riding the up and down rollercoaster of lymphedema management - I am here with you and for you as your biggest cheerleader and sounding board.
